2160 LHE we worked away at the design build project at
We will convert this outdated looking building into something new and fresh.
Like this only the Condo Association chose darker colors so I'm anxious to see how it turns out.
The Project has been turned over to
Fairmont Homes we lost to Paul Risk. All 3 bidders were within 4% of each other and I got wind that Paul Risk was selected because they did previous work in there before and really did a bang up job too so due to the fact that the low wasn't that low the owners decided to go with them. I'm convinced that Shannon and I were the low bidders.
Maple Farm is pending. This is another Dale Yoder/Cornerstone job that is a renovation of a nursing home. I took it to the next level when we priced it by taking the subs through the project one step at a time. This helped us to figure out the details of the project so that in the interview we can be better prepared. Additionally I was able to gather enough information that we could start a Maple Farms Project Manuel. It would be a great opportunity for us to renovate the nursing home. It would add to our experience.
C&D Technologies is a good one that we have in the works. They want us to revise our original number because all three Generals were to high for their budget. Basically we are partitioning off a large room in a huge warehouse and updating their underutilized facilities with more functional space.
LDS Fairview Foyer Renovation is complete. There was a little drama with the electricians loosing the key to the building, however, after much searching, asking ,and searching again, it finally turned up.
LDS Whitehall has been on hold for ever because we had to get it all through the permitting process. The Lift Manufacture was trying to strong arm us into purchasing a larger lift claiming that the code required a certain size lift. The architect the code official and myself all looked into the code and couldn't find anywhere that stated the size of the platform. I just ordered the lift today and I think the worst is behind us on this job because the permitting process was a nightmare.
Roymar is a job that we needed to solicit WBE and MBE contractors for. It turns out that even though we targeted these specific types of companies to submit a bid very few responded to our adds. Perhaps 1 truly legitimate MBE responded. There were about 4-5 that responded after the deadline. Jason Binkley is the project Manager on the job and I assisted him in the FTP site and also on getting the submittal log in a good shape.
